Welcome to Atmel Spaces!

Atmel Spaces hosts Free / Open Source projects that use an Atmel product or processor and provides many collaboration tools for your software / hardware project.

To get started, you can register a username/password with the link in the upper right corner. Please note that part of the registration process will send you a confirmation email that you have to respond to in order to activate your username. If you do not see this confirmation email, please check and make sure that your email client has not accidentally filtered it as spam before trying to re-register!

To see a list of available projects, click on the Projects tab in the menu up top.

You can Create a New Project of your own! Click the link, fill out the form and submit. The site admin will review the submission and approve or reject the project. Only projects that use an Atmel product will be approved.

When a new project is created it defaults to a Private project, which means that it is not visible to anyone except to project members. To change it to a public project, where anyone can see your Space, do the following:

1. A project Admin has to go to the "Admin" page of the project (in the menu on the left side of a project page).

2. In the "Admin Options" box on the right side of the page, click on the "Edit Observer Permissions" link.

3. Change the "Setting" for "Project Wide Access" from Private to Public, and click the "Save Changes" button on the page.

Now everyone can see your Space!
